The Southern Demographic Association's 2018 Annual Meeting will take place at the Durham Convention Center from Wednesday, October 10, 2018 through Friday, October 12, 2018 in downtown Durham, North Carolina.
Pre-Conference Workshops on Wednesday, October 10th
We will hold a day of pre-conference workshops. These include:
9:00 - 11:45 a.m. IPUMS Data for Population and Policy Research
11:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. lunch break (on your own)
1:15-3:45 p.m. Expanding the Reach of Your Research: Best Practices for Communicating with Policymakers and the Media
These are included in the price of your conference registration. When you register for the meetings you will be able to register for the pre-conference as well. A complete description of these sessions is available here.
